2010 Asia Pacific Yo-Yo Championships 報名相關事項
(截止日期2010/2/28)

All players, visitors, competitors or non competitors for this event, please fill in the registration form below. If you are traveling with family members, please fill a form for each member accordingly and indicate in the remarks/requests area so we can try our best to arrange the rooms. This championships is open to all Asian spinners. Spinners from other parts of the world are more than welcome to join in the fun.

There will be a early registration fee of $40 SGD for participants (regardless of the number of divisions to join) payable during the event. This special price is only for participants registering before the 28th February 2010. After the deadline, the fee will revert to $60 SGD.

Visitors, friends or family members traveling to the event do not have to pay for the registration fees.

*Please note that you should receive a confirmation email from us within a few days. If you do not hear from us. Please email or send us a message through our contact form.

Please also prepare a recent photo of yourself, preferably high resolution (less than 3mb) which we will use it for the website and printing materials. You can email us the photo after submitting the registration form.

2010AP這次提供住宿的旅館是Hotel Bencoolen,

跟上次的Hotel 81 - Dickson的差別是差在距離的部份, 因為上次是在捷運Bugis站,

搭捷運是搭綠線, 但是Orchard是在紅線, 所以需要搭綠線到City Hall站轉紅線,

時間花費下來也要20-30分鐘左右, 而且走到比賽會場也有一段距離!

而這次的Hotel Bencoolen則是鄰近捷運Ghaut站, 一樣是在紅線上,

只需花3-5分鐘搭乘兩站即可抵達Orchard站, 在時間上面可以說是節省了不少時間!

且比賽會場ION Orchard就在捷運Orchard站的2號出口, 真的是超方便的!!!

Hotel Bencoolen提供雙人房及三人房的選擇, 兩間房間價錢都時相同的.

住宿一晚的價錢是一人50SGD(約1100台幣)

這次的旅館還有提供免費的Home cook Style 早餐, 值得期待喔=D!

請盡早申請住宿喔! 並準備足夠的錢Check-in.

Dear Spinners of Asia,

1. Have you registered for AP yet? Please do so as soon as possible if you have not. Even for those who are coming to support and not compete, we will appreciate if you can register as a visitor. We are working something out to benefit those who register as visitors.

2. This year's AP Team Battle is going to be totally different! We are experimenting with a totally new concept and we need your help to read the new rules carefully so you can plan and form your international team in advance. Basically the team has to make up of members from different countries / group. We hope that through this, it will help to create new experiences and foster ties between spinners of different countries. Make use of facebook, MSN, etc to contact one another now!

3. If you are a student and require an official letter from us stating that you will be participating in AP, please reply back with the following details:

1. Full Name

2. Passport Number

3. Name of School / Company

4. Address of School / Company

5. Your home mailing address  

4. After you have submitted your registration, please send us a high resolution photo of yourself and your freestyle music (only MP3 or iTunes AAC) format to jeddy@asiapacyoyo.com

Some of you have sent us your pictures but we may not use them if the quality is too low for print. We will also try to use AP08 photos if necessary.

5. For AP10, there will be 2 days of preliminaries so the schedule will not be as packed as the last. If you can't reach Singapore by the 24th, you can still arrive on the 25th March and join in on the 2nd day. We will try to spread out as much as possible so you can have more time to catch up with one another, prepare for Team Battle and Country FAST Challenge.

1. 還沒網路報名的人請趕快報名, 要去但不比賽的請報"觀光客".

2. 這次的團體賽規則跟以往比起來完全不同, 要參加的人可以先看看規則,
最大的不同是可以跟不同國家的玩家組隊比賽!

3. 是學生或是正在上班的各位, 需要申請AP邀請函請寄出以下資料:
(1). 姓名(最好是中英文都給)
(2). 護照號碼
(3). 學校/公司行號名稱
(4). 學校/公司行號地址
(5). 住家地址
以上資訊最好是可以中英文都一起給, 反正他們複製貼上就好!
有了官方邀請函要辦請假手續也比較容易通過哦!

4. 網路報名完以後, 記得要寄送個人照及比賽使用音樂(MP3/AAC格式)給主辦單位!
如果照片畫質不夠高, 他們是不會取用的! 但若是有參加過AP'08的他們那邊會有保留資料!

5. 因為這次預賽有兩天, 所以可以依照個人抵達新加坡的時間參與賽事,
若沒辦法在24號抵達, 則可以參與第二天25號的預賽!

再三個星期就是AP了，而機票的問題著實也困擾了我一陣子。

之前可能有人聽我說過馬航的機票，5126+2550（稅金）=7676，算是
目前能找到最便宜的。但是早上八點台灣出發，中午到馬來西亞等轉機，
要等到下午四點多才上飛機，然後五點多到新加坡。回程就跟去程時間差
不多...

轉機時間靠～北邊的長啊！

考量時間跟金錢，目前我認為最好的選擇是華航的，下午四點出發，約八
點四十到新加坡（直飛）。回程是早上十點半新加坡出發，下午三點左右
到台灣。價錢大約是6500+2065=8565。

多一千塊，少浪費五小時，其實還不錯啦。

如果還有其他不錯的選擇也歡迎提出來，我希望能在這週內把機票的事情
解決啦，這樣大家就能專心準備了。

Dear Spinners of Asia,

Some updates regarding AP.

1. The competitor lists for the 5 main divisions are posted. Please visit the AP site and check that your name is there if you are competiting. Please let us know asap if you do not see your name. We will use the list to start planning the sequence of the qualifying freestyles.

2. The hotel does not have that many twin rooms (2 single beds) so for some of you, you may have to share a double bed with your room mate. We understand may not the most ideal case. We will put up the room allocation list over this few days so you can check and let us know if you have any violent objections. We have limited twin rooms so we seek your cooperation to compromise on this matter.

3. We mentioned that there will be major changes to the format of the AP Team Battle. We have uploaded a short demo video of how the battle should look like. Please watch it to get a better idea and you should start forming your teams now. Please read through the rules carefully (under Categories link), especially the part where you cannot have 2 members from the same country. Start looking for team members via Facebook, MSN or your preferred means.

4. The sponsors logos are up on the website. As you can imagine, it wasn't easy to organise AP and it was only made possible with the support of these sponsors. Please familiarize yourself with them and thank them when you see them during AP!

5. The AP facebook page is little quiet! We hope to see more posts and interactions from different countries or is everyone too busy polishing their yo-yos? Post up your training photos, share your thoughts and well wishes.

Thats all for now. This is going to be the first AP featuring so many world champions and they will give everyone else a run for their money! Let us know if you have any other questions and we have 17 days left to AP!

招式
在FAST Challenge裡共有十招, 目標是在最快時間內成功做出十個招式, 並傳給其他隊友直到全隊三人完成所有招式,
以下是十招指定招式:

1. The Wind Up 彈球收線
2. Gravity Pull 地球自轉
3. Forward Pass 反手拋
4. Break-Away 橫刀奪愛
5. Around the World 環遊世界
6. Walk the Dog 帶狗散步
7. Rock the Baby 時鐘搖擺
8. The Bikini 比基尼
9. Stop and Go 忽隱忽現
10.Skyrocket 火箭

規則
每隊只能有三位成員, 全部隊員只能使用一顆溜溜球. 第一位隊員將會開始FAST Challenge, 完成所有十個招式.
並在結束十個招式後將溜溜球用任何方式交給下一位隊員. 接下來第二位及第三位隊員將要完成十個招式,
但不需做第一招彈球收線. (直接從地球自轉開始做)
時間將在最後一位隊員完成最後一招時停止計時, 沒做完整的招式必須聽從裁判指示再做一次.
參賽者將溜溜球完整收回手上招式才算完成, 溜溜球掉到地上也將會視為失敗, 必須再重做一次該招式.
若第二位或第三位隊員沒接好上一位隊員傳的溜溜球, 上一位隊員必須再重做一次最後一招, 並且重新傳球.
某國家少於三位代表出席AP將可以與其他少於三位代表的國家選手組隊.
(如只有一位新加坡代表出席以及兩位日本代表出席, 他們將可以組成一隊)
每個人只能參與一個隊伍, 本比賽只能使用Yo-Yo Factory生產的FAST 201.
Country FAST Challenge將會有兩回合, 預賽及淘汰賽.

預賽
當有20組隊伍時, 將會有4組被淘汰, 留下16組晉級下一回合的淘汰賽,
每一組將會有三次機會, 三次裡的最佳成績將會作為晉級依據,

淘汰賽
最快速度的隊伍將晉級淘汰賽直到選出最後兩組進行一對一決賽.

中國 - 1組
香港 - 3組
印尼 - 1組

幾年來, Spinworkx為了使玩家們的技巧更精進, 回顧到2008年,
AP給大家帶來了Beat it! Throwdown, 重整選手們的技巧以及表演風格!
2010 AP, Beat it! Throwdown回來了但是改變了不少.
這個新比賽項目將保證會使選手們增進有如表演者般的技術, 並建立起亞洲各地難能可貴的友誼及關係!
放輕鬆來, 秀出你的高難度技巧! 你能做出令人瘋狂的連續技?
非常了解你的招式? 對到節奏了嗎? 現在你不需要一個令人興奮的三分鐘Free Style成為冠軍.
要贏的唯一方式就是將你驚人的技巧混合著駐場DJ的節奏秀出你自己吧!!!
團結, 技巧, 風格以及印象就是裁判們所在尋找的!!!

比賽細節

-淘汰制
-以投擲硬幣決定上場先後順序
-每回合將會包括六分鐘的音樂使各個隊伍秀出他們擊敗對方的技巧, 對戰制
-隊伍的組成方式:

*每個隊伍必須包含三個成員.
*每個成員玩的項目是不受限制的.
*每個隊伍必須依照下列方式組成:

群組 1 - 日本 & 香港
群組 2 - 馬來西亞 & 新加坡
群組 3 - 任何其他國家 (包括亞洲以外的其他國家玩家)

例如:
日本選手, 香港選手, 汶萊選手 - 錯誤! (日本選手與香港選手不能在同一個隊伍)
日本選手, 新加坡選手, 美國選手 - 正確
香港選手, 馬來西亞選手, 新加坡選手 - 錯誤! (馬來西亞選手與新加坡選手不能在同一個隊伍)
香港選手, 馬來西亞選手, 菲律賓選手 - 正確

**會這樣組隊的原因是因為要促進各國的交流, MIX在一起才是最好的方式!

-裁判席將會有四位裁判
兩位熟悉技術方面的裁判
兩位觀看表演技巧的裁判

-裁判將會有1至5分的手卡, 評分標準為表演花式與音樂節奏的配合度.
-每回合將會由駐場DJ播放不同類型的音樂.
-裁判將會在每個攻擊的結束後給予分數
-贏家將會是把三位成員的成績結算在一起.

影片是比賽大致上的形式, 實際上的比賽時間會更長.

More exciting updates for you all.

1. Seeded Competitors List

We have posted the list of seeded competitors in our site.
If you are a seeded player or if you are not sure, please check your names and division here:

For the rest who are not sure what "seeded" represents, it means that the spinners from this list have held recent national or major competition titles.
They will proceed straight into the AP10 finals without having to qualify for their division.
However, they are still required to undergo the 1min preliminary freestyle if they are not recognized as seeded competitors for that division.

2. AP Team Battle Division

We understand that some of you are facing difficulty finding team members due to the new rule of having spinners from different countries.
We strongly encourage you to use the official AP's facebook page to seek out team members. Feel free to post out any messages to our "wall".

3. New Cash Prize Bonus

One of our main sponsors - Duncan has offered a special cash price of S$700 to the highest placing competitor using a Duncan or Screaming Eagle Yo-yo.
If two spinners place the same in two different divisions, the person with the highest score wins!

4. Exclusive AP10 Merchandise

There will be some exclusive AP merchandise available on site.
They include AP Freehand Zeros, AP edition Kitty Strings, AP Edition RhongTos (very limited!) and AP Edition One Drop Design's Dingos (very limited!), AP edition Speeders, AP event booklet and AP-Tshirts.
Prices will be announced soon.

5. Universal Studios

As you may have heard, Singapore finally has its own Universal Studios and if you are coming to Singapore, you are just in time to visit it when it opens on 18th March.

就是最近在各個國家舉辦的全國性大賽或主要比賽獲得冠軍, 可以在2010AP中免參加預賽直接晉級決賽!
若不是種子選手的一般選手則需要參加一分鐘預賽.

再30個小時，台灣一行共十位勇者們就要陸續出發前往新加坡啦。

雖然大家去的時間不盡相同，但是需要注意的事情是大同小異的。

一定不能忘記的東西：
1.護照，而且最好拿個小袋子裝起來
2.比賽要用的一切器材（球、線、聶子、刀子，後兩者請記得要托運）
3.音樂（CD），雖然有上傳，不過為了保險起見還是燒一片好
4.藥品，個人有需求的話請記得一定要帶喔！
5.雨具，新加坡為熱帶國家，降雨是很常見的事情。

最好要有的東西：
1.拖鞋
2.各式充電器，不管是手機相機PSP，要用到電的最好是都要帶著喔
3.泡麵，身在異鄉，一碗泡麵挑起無限的鄉愁...（誤）

還有要補充的也快提出來吧～
